About Alzheimer’s care
You don’t have to carry this alone.
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease can be emotionally and physically demanding. As the condition progresses, everyday activities like remembering appointments, preparing meals, and staying safe at home may become increasingly difficult for them, and exhausting for the family who step in to help.
At PrimeCare In-Home Support, we provide compassionate, non-medical Alzheimer’s home care designed to help individuals remain comfortable, engaged, and independent in familiar surroundings. It is part of our specialized care services, and every care plan is built around the person, not the diagnosis. Our care supports independence, not replaces it.

What is Alzheimer’s home care?
Alzheimer’s home care is non-medical support that helps a person with Alzheimer’s disease live safely and comfortably in their own home. It includes help with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, safety supervision, and companionship, built around their routines and preferences.
Is Alzheimer’s care at PrimeCare medical care?
No. PrimeCare provides non-medical care. Our caregivers help with daily living, safety, comfort, and companionship, and they work alongside your loved one’s doctors and family rather than replacing them. Diagnosis and treatment stay with their medical team.
How does care change as Alzheimer’s progresses?
Needs often change over time, so the care plan is never fixed. We start with a free in-home assessment, build a personalized plan, and adjust it with your family as memory and abilities change.
What is the difference between Alzheimer’s care and dementia care?
Dementia is the broad term for a decline in memory and thinking, and Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause. Both call for patient, routine-based support, and we tailor the plan to the person’s diagnosis, stage, and needs. Learn more about our dementia care.
Can we combine Alzheimer’s care with other services?
Yes. Many families combine Alzheimer’s care with overnight care, respite care, or 24-hour care. During the free assessment we build one plan and schedule around your loved one’s needs.
Can you give family caregivers a break?
Yes. Respite care gives family caregivers time to rest, run errands, or recharge, while a caregiver stays with your loved one.
Who provides Alzheimer’s care at PrimeCare?
Every caregiver is a Registered Home Care Aide with the CDSS and completes fingerprinting and a full criminal background check before working with clients.
How many hours of care can we schedule?
PrimeCare offers flexible scheduling with a 4-hour minimum shift, from a few shifts a week up to 24-hour care. Contact our team to build a schedule around your family’s needs.
