Our Services βΊ TRANSPORTATION
Transportation support built around safety, reliability, and peace of mind.
Personalized, non-medical transportation assistance that helps clients get to appointments, errands, shopping, and essential activities safely while remaining as independent as possible.
Getting to an appointment or running an essential errand can become difficult when driving is no longer practical. Our caregivers provide transportation assistance designed around each client’s mobility, comfort, and safety needs.
Before each trip, caregivers take appropriate precautions based on the client’s condition and mobility needs. This may include allowing additional time for boarding and exiting the vehicle, assisting with mobility devices, securing belongings and equipment, and helping clients safely enter and exit the vehicle.
Transportation is provided for non-medical purposes. Caregivers do not provide emergency medical transportation, ambulance services, or medical treatment during transport. For medical emergencies, clients should call 911.

How It Works
Mileage Reimbursement
Transportation provided in a caregiver’s personal vehicle is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile, calculated based on eligible mileage associated with the client’s transportation needs.
Mileage reimbursement is separate from the caregiver’s service rate and is discussed with the client or responsible family member before transportation begins.
Safety & Precautions
Every trip starts with safety.
Our caregivers take reasonable precautions before and during transportation, including:
Pre-trip safety check β considering the client’s mobility, condition, destination, and transportation requirements.
Safe boarding and exiting β allowing sufficient time and providing appropriate assistance when entering or leaving the vehicle.
Mobility equipment β ensuring walkers, canes, and other necessary equipment are handled appropriately and safely.
Seat belt use β clients are expected to use appropriate seat belts and other vehicle safety restraints.
Weather and road conditions β transportation may be adjusted, delayed, or rescheduled when conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.
Emergency awareness β caregivers are trained to recognize situations requiring emergency assistance and will contact 911 when appropriate.
Non-medical transportation only β our caregivers do not provide ambulance transportation, emergency medical transport, or medical treatment while traveling.
